What I Believe:

I believe in simplicity; efficiency and clarity; beauty. I believe that there is a way to do things, that there is a better way to do them, and that my purpose at Glide and in life as a whole revolves around the better way. If the best is possible, then I know of no good reason to settle for less. I believe that anything I would want for myself I ought to be willing to give to you first.

How I Desire To Help:

I want you to be proud of what is associated with your name, just as I want to be proud of what is associated with mine. Glide enables me to do both at the same time. You may never meet me, talk to me on the phone, or send me an email, but I can assure you that my hands have worked hard to ensure that your site is worthy of your name…and ours.

Background:

There was a period of my childhood during which I postponed a good deal of homework because I was occupied with the imaginary sports stadium I was designing. At the same time, I was also operating an imaginary basketball league – including playoffs! In both instances, I operated as if the results of such projects had real implications on my life. And in a sense, I was right to believe that they did. More than anything else, imagination is my background. As a life-long resident of the Austin area, I’ve certainly lived in an imaginative culture. I continue to relish any opportunity to dream things up and turn them into reality. The bulk of my work history over the last decade has been in the customer service industry, so I have spent many hours putting my creative abilities to work for the benefit of the consumer. With its relentless focus on best-in-class websites and customer satisfaction, Glide Design is the best opportunity I’ve ever had to make use of these strengths. Glide offers me the pleasure of taking your vision for your website and making it come to life.

  1. He’s a real, live native Austinite. Yes, the genuine article.
  2. Competed in the Texas state spelling bee in fifth grade.
  3. First took the SAT at 12 years old.
  4. Which was also around the time he first picked up the guitar. (He hasn’t put it down since.)
  5. He’s worked in a veritable cornucopia of fields, from bookkeeping to car sales, call centers to retail.
  6. Once wrote a hot check just to get enough cash back to buy a T-shirt at the U2 concert. (This was a long time ago. Promise.)
  7. Has been known to drive out-of-state and back in the same day, just for fun.
  8. He originally learned how to build websites just for fun too. In fact, he still thinks it’s fun.
  9. Is endlessly fascinated by the weather.
  10. He would be perfectly content to eat every day at some combination of South Side Pizza, Vespaio, Chuy’s, Kerbey Lane and Alamo Drafthouse.
