Digital Marketing Project Manager
GLIDE, a values-first digital creative agency based in Austin, Texas is looking for a Digital Marketing Project Manager. This role is freelance and part-time.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Digital Marketing Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive measurable results for our clients. Your expertise in SEO, PPC, and omni-channel marketing will be essential in managing ongoing services and continuous improvement efforts. You’ll be responsible for coordinating across teams to implement data-driven tactics and ensuring our work aligns with industry best practices. Additionally, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing strategic guidance and detailed insights through analytics and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the full scope of GLIDE digital marketing projects, from onboarding and strategy to execution and reporting.
- Manage the ongoing needs of services clients, ensuring continuous improvement in SEO, PPC, and ongoing website development improvements.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies across multiple digital channels to achieve client goals and maximize ROI.
- Foster and maintain client relationships, serving as their main point of contact and marketing advocate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of designers, content creators, SEO specialists, and PPC experts to deliver high-impact campaigns.
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues within digital marketing processes, using data insights to drive solutions.
- Ensure each project is strategically sound and meets client objectives, timelines, and budgets; initiate change orders when necessary.
- Produce detailed, data-backed weekly status reports for clients, outlining project progress, key insights, and next steps.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE + KNOWLEDGE
- 4+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on project management
- Strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and integrated marketing strategies
- Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and other content management systems
- Proven track record of managing client relationships and achieving measurable results
- Experience setting agendas, establishing timelines, and managing budgets across projects
- Ability to think strategically while advancing daily project tasks
- Natural aptitude for organization and time management
- Excellent communication and team management skills
- High level of technical proficiency (BONUS if you are Google Analytics certified)
- Previous experience in a remote or distributed team environment is a plus

COMPENSATION
This position is on a freelance/contract basis and remote. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience.
LOCATION
You’re free to work from anywhere anytime. If you’re outside of the US but can work at least 4+ hours in the US Central time zone from 9am-5pm (but not past midnight in your time zone, we want to encourage a healthy work-life balance), let’s talk. You should be fluent in English and have a strong wifi signal to support Zoom video chats with our team.
