# A powerful add-on for salesforce

Overview
This project afforded us an opportunity to innovate in multiple ways. On the frontend,
we got to experiment with 3D graphics and animation, and on the backend, this was
a big leap forward for us in Webflow design and development. In terms of polish
and performance, we’re really proud of the final product.

## Leveraging Webflow’s speed and efficiency
Visualizing B2B tech solutions is a special kind of challenge. Thus, we brainstormed
ideas for a custom hero with the client. Where exactly does Place fit into the Salesforce
ecosystem and what does it do? In simple terms, it’s like a computer chip that supercharges
performance. Place plugs into Salesforce, and all of sudden you unlock new pathways
of information. That’s how a custom animation is conceived.

Our lead designer Marian has experience in Webflow but this project required more
dev work than he’s typically responsible for. Boy did he rise to the challenge.
He translated designs from Figma to Webflow as he went and basically developed the
site while designing it. We leaned on our skilled dev team for some of the complex
aspects of the site, as well as QA, but overall, the Webflow workflow proved hyper
efficient.
