very intrigued by Prodigy’s value prop: a powerful, free alternative to WooCommerce.
Showcasing their rich feature set and novel business model would make for an exciting

## Why free?

“Confidence” is an underrated quality of great web design. For Prodigy, we wanted
to embrace the disruptor mindset of what they’ve set out to do. That translates 
to striking imagery, a rich palette of colors, and to-the-point messaging. All credit
to their team for writing an evocative opening headline that sets the tone for the
rest of the site. “Finally, a powerful alternative to WooCommerce…”

Years of user research has taught us that one of the first places people will go
on a technology site is the pricing page. Therefore, we are anticipating and subverting
those expectations by renaming the page ‘Why Free?’. Curiosity is the ultimate motivator,
and it just so happens their free pricing model supports this approach.
