## Empowering change, building community

 We had the privilege of partnering with The Arc of Texas, an organization deeply
committed to advocating for Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities(
IDD). The Arc of Texas plays a pivotal role in driving systemic change across areas
like community services, inclusive education, employment, and civil rights. With
over 70 years of history and a trusted legacy, they were ready to refresh their 
online presence to better connect with a new generation of advocates and families.
We were thrilled to step in and help translate their vision into a digital platform
that highlights their mission, inspires action, and amplifies resources for those
in need.

## Designing for accessibility and advocacy

The Arc of Texas needed a website that wasn’t just visually appealing but also functional,
inclusive, and easy to navigate. The challenge was to restructure the site so that
visitors could intuitively access information on advocacy, resources, and the Master
Pooled Trust, while maintaining a clear distinction between their primary advocacy
work and informational resources.

We tackled this by designing an interface with an enhanced navigation structure 
and clear visual cues, ensuring that resources for families, self-advocates, and
policymakers are all easy to find. To support The Arc’s commitment to accessibility,
we implemented best practices across the board, from color contrasts to screen-reader
compatibility, ensuring that the site is welcoming and usable for all.
