## Risk prediction unique as you

 Did you know that insurance companies decide how risky you are based on broad generalizations
and sparse personal information? At least that was the case until Verikai came along
with its Machine Learning and behavioral data-powered risk analytics, helping the
insured get the right rates and helping underwriters get accurate predictions. We
were happy to redesign their site to better communicate the groundbreaking work 
Verikai is bringing to the health insurance industry.

## Diverse representation

With Verikai, our goal was to reflect the depth of their product while centering
diversity and clarity. We chose portrait photography and illustrative styles that
reinforce the individuality behind risk data and the innovation behind Verikai’s
behavior-driven predictions. The new design includes floating “behavior bubbles”
to hint at the layered data beneath the platform. These visuals, paired with a bold
brand system, help demystify complex concepts and bring their fresh identity to 
life.

Just as important as the visuals was how we spoke to Verikai’s two core audiences:
underwriters and brokers. Each group has its own concerns and language, so we guided
users to relevant content quickly—right after spotlighting shared goals like improved
loss ratios and profitability. We even built in a self-identification step for demo
requests, so Verikai’s team can tailor each interaction. The new site brings together
distinct styles, audiences, and messages into a cohesive, intuitive experience—and
with tools like Hotjar in place, we’re continuing to refine it based on real behavior.
