Texas Council on Family Violence

Creating safer communities for Texas families

Image
Overview

In 2020, 1.5 million survivors of family violence found relief in support programs, thanks in large part to our client, the Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV). TCFV has been making Texas a safer place for families since 1978 by shaping public policy, training service providers, and so much more. It was an honor to bring a fresh look and improved experience to this worthwhile and necessary cause.

Empathetic support from survivors

TCFV team members are often survivors themselves, so when survivors of family violence come to them for support, they feel secure knowing that the people helping them have been where they are. In that same vein, we wanted to represent the diverse population that TCFV serves in the site’s imagery. We took great care to curate a series of intimate portraits that would strike a tone that was both reverent and hopeful. .

WHAT WE LEARNED

Empower the movement

To further support the community, TCFV offers memberships to individuals, organizations, and non-profits at varying categories, each with their own benefits, requirements, and methods to apply. To keep these membership categories organized, we designed a table that breaks down the key details for each, while also offering interested applicants the chance to quick-apply without delving into the nitty gritty.
