What We Did
This project sure ramped up fast! Liquibase first hired us to build a launchpad site—where you focus on key pages first—then once that was live, they asked us if we could expand the scope to all pages … for two different sites. Absolutely! Millions of developers use their platform to manage database changes and we’re all about reaching more people.
Post launch results
Bring on the brand
The beauty of a launchpad site is its focus by narrowing scope to a few key pages, you can start driving results fast. For Liquibase, the goal was clear: increase signups for their Pro offering. The early updates delivered enough value that they quickly approved a full site redesign. We collaborated closely with their branding agency, applying fresh brand assets to medium-fidelity layouts as they came in. It was a smooth, symbiotic process where strategy, design, and brand came together in real time.
Crushed it! The GLIDE team really stepped up to the challenge. Two websites, a bunch of complex backend integrations and an extremely aggressive timeline. These guys delivered everything!

As much as we care about clean design, our top priority is always performance. A good-looking site means nothing if it doesn’t help users take action. For Liquibase, that meant helping both open source users and new Pro customers discover a tool that simplifies their work. We set goals, tracked results, and let the data guide us. So far, the numbers say we’re on the right path and the site’s only getting stronger.
