What We Did
When you think about insurance companies, loyalty isn’t always the first word that comes to mind. However, the more we talked to Germania leading up to their redesign, the more we understood how committed they’ve been to helping rural Texas communities grow and prosper for over 100 years. Any company that cares about Texans as much as Germania is a company GLIDE is thrilled to work with.
Starting with the end
in mind
Our first goal with the Germania redesign was to bring their trusted, long-standing brand into a modern digital experience. We leaned into authentic, local imagery paired with clear messaging that reflects their values. The result is a site that feels fresh but still grounded in the credibility they’ve built over time.
With a wide range of product offerings, organizing the content was key. We built a robust dropdown navigation for users who know what they’re looking for and added visual tiles with custom icons to help others quickly explore their options. It’s a flexible system that supports both confident decision-makers and those still browsing.
A standout feature is the new ‘Find an Agent’ tool. Instead of a static text list, we built a map-based search that filters agents by zip, city, or county. It’s a more intuitive way to connect users with local reps, which is critical in such a relationship-driven business. With improved mobile optimization and UX, the site now supports stronger engagement, higher SEO performance, and a clearer path to conversion.
