Overview
Background
Sovel Group is a boutique financial services firm serving small-to-medium-sized single-family offices and high-net-worth individuals — delivering institutional-grade back-office operations, accounting, financial analysis, and AI-enhanced reporting tailored to complex estates.
Problem
A thin, template-feel site with a sparse services page and no messaging hierarchy couldn’t credibly represent a firm asking clients to hand over their most sensitive financial operations. The old site said almost nothing — in a space where everything is communicated through restraint and precision.
Solution
We built a site where the messaging does the qualifying. Every page — from service architecture to a frank FAQ that directly addresses outsourcing concerns and AI use — is designed to give the right client enough to say yes, and everyone else a polite off-ramp.

Built to convert a small, high-value audience
The core design challenge was communicating complexity without triggering the exact thing Sovel’s clients are trying to escape: noise. Prospects in the family office space are skeptical of anything that feels templated or overly sales-forward — they want to feel understood before they engage. We drew on Sovel’s own language to shape a site that speaks in outcomes: less “here’s what we do,” more “here’s what life looks like when we do it for you.” Clear service architecture — Family Office Services, Recurring Accounting, Financial Analysis, and Consulting — gives every type of prospect a direct path to what’s relevant, while a three-phase onboarding framework and FAQ section answer the hard questions before a prospect ever picks up the phone.
With a narrowly defined target market, every interaction on the site needed to carry weight. We designed a focused conversion path anchored around a “Let’s Talk” contact experience, layered with credibility signals — team presence, client philosophy, and a modular Insights section that positions Sovel as a thought partner, not just a service provider. The flexible WordPress CMS gives the team room to grow the site as the firm scales, without ever needing to start from scratch again.
