Lonestar Soccer Club

Turning confusion into confident registration

Image

Overview

Background

Lonestar Soccer Club is one of the largest youth soccer organizations in Central Texas. They serve families across multiple cities, age groups, and levels of competition, from first-time players to elite pathways.

Problem

For new families, the first step was unclear. The site reflected the club’s internal structure, which meant parents had to understand programs before they could explore them. That friction showed up early and made it harder to build trust or move forward.

Solution

GLIDE reframed the experience around how families actually think and decide. We created clear entry points and simple paths that guide users from first visit to next step without confusion.

Enhancing clarity across a complex system

Lonestar serves a wide range of families. Some are signing up a five-year-old for the first time. Others are evaluating long-term development and competitive pathways. Each group brings different questions and different expectations. We approached this by building clarity in layers. The site starts simple, then adds depth as users move forward. Families can quickly find what fits, then explore details when they are ready. This keeps the experience approachable without losing the substance needed for bigger decisions. It also removes the need to decode internal terminology, which had been a key source of friction.

GLIDE makes complex ideas very clear and easy to understand, they’re great teachers and educators.  We’ve seen a 30%–50% increase in sponsorship inquiries, which we directly attribute to the new website.

The site now works as a true starting point for new families. People can find the right program, understand what to expect, and take action without hesitation. Key actions are easier to see and easier to complete. Exploration flows naturally into inquiry and registration. That shift supports faster decisions and fewer drop-offs.

Just as important, the site feels more like the club itself. It shows the full picture, from community impact to competitive opportunity, and helps families feel confident in their choice.
