What I Believe:

I have a passion for clean and usable design. I believe that interaction on the web can be far from mundane yet still keep to the core tenets of usable design and web standards. I personally believe that if you don’t have a burning desire in this industry you shouldn’t be doing what your doing. The web is far too competitive for those who are only willing to put one foot in the water.

How I Desire To Help:

I enjoy dealing with people and interacting with clients. I spend the majority of my time meeting potential clients and interacting with past and current clients. I have a passion for my job and that carries over when I talk with clients. It’s my goal to be a source of inspiration and encouragement for my team and always do my best to empower them to be as successful as possible. I love being involved in the design process and how end-users interact with and move through online decision-making processes.

Background:

Since I was young, I have had a passion for creativity. I received my BA in Architecture at Texas A&M while also running for the A&M track team. I started my career as a graphic designer out of college for EverydayWealth, a financial internet start-up in 2002. In 2004, I moved to Oregon to start Pixona, an online real-time video communications company. After two years I moved back to Texas and started Glide Design in 2004. We desire to become a design powerhouse that delivers high quality solutions with creativity, ingenuity and tenacity. As a side-note, I’m also a “full-time” volunteer youth pastor for my church and worship leader, approaching 10 years in ministry. And I must mention that I cherish my amazingly creative and talented wife, Kristen, who is a continual source of inspiration and love.
